Presto Plus Subscription Terms

1. Introduction
These Subscription Terms apply to your use of Presto Plus, the paid subscription tier of Presto Maths. They supplement and should be read alongside the Presto Maths Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict, these Subscription Terms take precedence on matters relating to billing and subscriptions.
Presto Plus is offered in two tiers:
- Presto Plus Individual — available to any registered Presto Maths user.
- Presto Plus for Schools — available exclusively to schools and educational institutions.
2. Presto Plus Individual
Presto Plus Individual provides access to additional features and increased storage beyond those available on the free account tier. A full description of included features is available on our website.
3. Presto Plus for Schools
Presto Plus for Schools is a distinct subscription tier available exclusively to schools and educational institutions.
Eligibility and Domain Approval
- Presto Plus for Schools is available to schools only.
- All school users must register using an email address belonging to the school's approved domain.
- School domains are approved manually by us at the time of school sign-up. Only email addresses on the approved domain will be permitted to join the school account.
- We reserve the right to decline a school sign-up application at our discretion.
School User Visibility
Members of a school account can see the name and email address of other members of that school on the platform.
Registering as a member of a school account constitutes your agreement to this visibility.

Administrator Responsibilities
The person who registers the school account (the "school administrator") is responsible for:
- Ensuring that all users invited to the school account are employed by or professionally associated with the school.
- Ensuring all invited users are made aware of and have agreed to the Terms & Conditions, these Subscription Terms, and our Privacy Policy before joining the account.
4. Billing and Payment
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for details of how your payment data is handled.
- Presto Plus is available on a monthly or annual recurring basis. The billing frequency is confirmed at the point of purchase.
- Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period and are payable in advance.
- In the event of a failed payment, we will attempt to retry the charge in accordance with Stripe's standard retry logic. If payment is not successfully collected, your subscription may be suspended or cancelled.
5. Cancellation
- You may cancel your Presto Plus subscription at any time through your account settings.
- On cancellation, your Presto Plus benefits will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date.
- Cancellation of an annual plan part-way through the year does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of the year.
6. No Refunds
All subscription fees are non-refundable. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable UK law.
7. Your Data Following Downgrade
When your Presto Plus subscription ends, your account will immediately revert to the free tier limits.
However, no existing data (e.g. activities, skillsets) will be deleted by us for 30 days, unless specifically requested by you.
Therefore, the following limitations will apply:
- Activities will only display questions up to the free tier question limit (as described on our website).
- You will only be able to view or store activities up to the free tier activity limit (as described on our website).
- You will no longer have access to any skillsets you have stored.
30 days after your subscription ends, assuming you have not renewed your subscription:
- Any activities, with more questions than the free tier question limit, stored on your account will be permanently deleted.
- If the number of activities stored by you exceeds the free tier limit, all activities beyond the free tier limit will be permanently deleted.
- All skillsets stored on your account will be permanently deleted.
8. Changes to Pricing or These Terms
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing or these Subscription Terms at any time. We will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance of any such changes. If you do not wish to accept the new pricing or terms, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
9. Governing Law
These Subscription Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
