PrestoPlus Subscription Terms

1. Introduction

These Subscription Terms apply to your use of PrestoPlus, the paid subscription tier of PrestoMaths. They supplement and should be read alongside the PrestoMaths Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict, these Subscription Terms take precedence on matters relating to billing and subscriptions.

PrestoPlus is offered in two tiers:

PrestoPlus Individual — available to any registered PrestoMaths user.
PrestoPlus for Schools — available exclusively to schools and educational institutions.

2. PrestoPlus Individual

PrestoPlus Individual provides access to additional features and increased storage beyond those available on the free account tier. A full description of included features is available on our website.

3. PrestoPlus for Schools

PrestoPlus for Schools is a distinct subscription tier available exclusively to schools and educational institutions.

Eligibility and Domain Approval

PrestoPlus for Schools is available to schools only.
All school users must register using an email address belonging to the school's approved domain.
School domains are approved manually by us at the time of school sign-up. Only email addresses on the approved domain will be permitted to join the school account.
We reserve the right to decline a school sign-up application at our discretion.

School User Visibility

Members of a school account can see the name and email address of other members of that school on the platform. You will be clearly informed of this before joining a school account, and your acceptance of the school invitation constitutes your agreement to this visibility.

Administrator Responsibilities

The person who registers the school account (the "school administrator") is responsible for:

Ensuring that all users invited to the school account are employed by or professionally associated with the school.
Ensuring all invited users are made aware of and have agreed to the Terms & Conditions, these Subscription Terms, and our Privacy Policy before joining the account.

4. Billing and Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for details of how your payment data is handled.
PrestoPlus is available on a monthly or annual recurring basis. The billing frequency is confirmed at the point of purchase.
Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period and are payable in advance.
In the event of a failed payment, we will attempt to retry the charge in accordance with Stripe's standard retry logic. If payment is not successfully collected, your subscription may be suspended or cancelled.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your PrestoPlus subscription at any time through your account settings.
On cancellation, your PrestoPlus benefits will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date.
Cancellation of an annual plan part-way through the year does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of the year.

6. No Refunds

All subscription fees are non-refundable. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable UK law.

7. Your Data Following Downgrade

When your PrestoPlus subscription ends, your account will revert to the free tier limits. The following applies:

Content that exceeds the free tier limits — including activities that exceed the free plan storage quota, activities containing more than 6 questions, and skillsets beyond the free tier allowance — will no longer be accessible.
You will have a 30-day grace period following the end of your subscription during which you can export or reduce your content.
After the 30-day grace period, content that remains in excess of the free tier limits will be permanently deleted.

We strongly recommend reviewing and exporting any content you wish to retain before your subscription ends.

8. Changes to Pricing or These Terms

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing or these Subscription Terms at any time. We will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance of any such changes. If you do not wish to accept the new pricing or terms, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

9. Governing Law

These Subscription Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
